Regaining your license after getting a DWI can be frustrating and confusing. At Absolute Advocacy, we put you at ease by making the process simple and straightforward. To prepare for your visit, you simply need to complete the Release of Confidential Information, Client Rights and Grievance, and the Notice of Privacy Practice.
For your convenience, the forms can be found online at https://www.absoluteadvocacy.org/documents/ Arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment with all required paperwork. In addition to your forms, bring your DWI citation, Breathalyzer results (BAC reading), and your complete DMV driving history (Motor Vehicle Record).
Payment is required prior to the assessment so bring all applicable fees. No child care is provided; please be sure to secure adequate child care before your appointment. Your visit will consist of a written questionnaire and an interview. Expect your visit to take between 45 minutes and 1 hours.
Once the assessment has been completed, you will receive a recommendation letter and a copy of the signed E-508 sent to DWI state services. An E-508 is a certificate showing completion of your assessment. To expedite the process, we will also provide a copy for your lawyer. Absolute Advocacy will recommend substance abuse treatment classes that you will need to complete to have your driver’s license reinstated. These classes must be started no later than six months from the date of the assessment or you will need to have the assessment redone at your cost. For your needs, Absolute Advocacy provides flexible DWI classes throughout the week designed to fit around your schedule. For more information on our services, click here.
