Q&A With Keisha & Morris: DWI & Substance Abuse From the Agency’s Perspective
What are a few things you know now that you didn’t know when you started your business?
Not all agencies are the same. We realize that now that we see the reviews and testimonials from our clients. We are truly making a difference in our community. We also did not know at first how traumatic a DWI is to the offender, family, and
everyone involved. Resolving issues with DWI or substance abuse convictions can be expensive. Substance abuse can affect all facets of an individual’s life, physically, emotionally and financially. That’s why community support is so important.
What is one thing you wish people knew about working with people who are dealing with DWIs and substance abuse?
That people who are dealing with a DWI, or a substance abuse issues aren’t bad people. If we want people to make better decisions, we first have to acknowledge them as our equals and not look down on them, rather encourage them with open minds.
