Absolute Advocacy Now Offers ADETS Classes

Absolute Advocacy: Alcohol & Drug Education Classes in North Carolina

April 5, 2012 – As part of its rehabilitative and reinstatement services, Absolute Advocacy now offers monthly ADETS courses. This 16-hour program is a process for first-time DWI-DUI offenders to have their driver’s license reinstated. “We look forward to providing comprehensive services for individuals looking to move forward after a substance related charge or conviction”, says Keisha Mclean-Green, co-owner and clinical director at Absolute Advocacy. “With this new addition to our service line, our clients can receive assessment, one-on-one and group counseling as well as ADETS courses at one of our two convenient locations.”

Absolute Advocacy will offer monthly ADETS courses for first time offenders who meet specific criteria:

  • Assessment shows no substance abuse handicap
  • Blood alcohol content is .14 or less
  • Assessor recommends ADETS course

The monthly courses will be offered on evenings and weekends to accommodate busy workday schedules. “We want our clients to receive the treatment they need without work scheduling conflicts that occur with daytime classes,” says Morris Green, co-owner of Absolute Advocacy.

The state regulated fee for the course is $160, and appointments are being made for next month’s course. Absolute Advocacy will enroll students in the class regardless of where they received their assessment. To make an appointment, visit us online at www.absoluteadvocacy.org or call 704-215-4095.
